You'll need your parent or guardian with you if you're under 13 or opening an account with a debit card, and you (or your parent/guardian) will need to provide the following:

  • A photo ID (for you or your parent/guardian; student IDs are OK)
  • Proof of your current address 
  • Social Security number (if your parent/guardian opens the account, we'll need theirs, too)
  • $5 to join and at least $5 to put into your new account

To enroll in Vault, you must be 17 years old or younger and live or work in one of the 27 Oregon counties or 8 Washington counties we serve (or have a family member who does). A qualified adult guarantor is required for deposit accounts and loans issued to members under 18.
