Presenting the 2022 SELCO Scholarship Recipients

SELCO Steps Up Student & Educator Support

Over 30 years and counting for SELCO's Scholarship Program.

Aaron Pina

To commemorate the 32nd anniversary of SELCO’s Scholarship program, we’re thrilled to continue giving out our Richard Metzler Opportunity Scholarship that debuted last year and are excited to announce our 2022 SELCO Scholarship recipients.

Richard Metzler Opportunity Scholarship

This year’s Richard Metzler Opportunity Scholarship recipient is Aaron Pina from Marist High School in Eugene, Oregon. While at Marist, Pina showed a commitment to his education while staying involved in extracurricular activities. He was a member of the cross-country team throughout his high school career.

Aaron plans to attend Oregon State University to study Computer Science, with the hope of becoming a software engineer.
