Personal Health Insurance

Open Enrollment Period. The enrollment period for 2019 individual or family health insurance is Oct. 15–Dec. 7, 2018. For more information, visit healthcare.gov.

Special Enrollment Period. To qualify for coverage outside of the open enrollment period, you must have experienced a qualified life event such as:

  • Having a baby
  • Adopting a child
  • Losing health coverage
  • Moving
  • Getting married

Medicaid is a jointly funded, federal-state health insurance program for people of low income and in need. It covers children, people who are older, people with disabilities, and others eligible to receive federal assistance.

How do I enroll?

  • The best way to enroll in Oregon Health Plan is online at one.Oregon.gov.
  • You can also contact the Oregon Health Authority at 800-699-9075 or 711 (TTY).
  • Residents with certain special-eligibility status can enroll through OregonHealthCare.gov.
