Link is the digitally-optimized checking account that pays you back with perks like round-up savings matches, free overdraft protection, and free financial coaching. Key to your Link account is SELCO’s digital banking app, which seamlessly connects your accounts, digital payments, and a wealth of financial tools.
You'll want to register for digital banking and download the app right away to get started with Link.
Earn your round-up match
When you complete the following requirements each month, we’ll match your round-up savings and deposit the funds into your savings account after month-end. To earn the automatic, dollar-for-dollar match of up to $7:
- Stay enrolled in eStatements.
- Deposit at least $250 total through ACH, such as payroll direct deposits or other automated deposits from outside SELCO. (Mobile, ATM, and in-person deposits won’t count.) Contact your employer or other income source to set up automatic deposits to your Link account. You’ll need your routing and account numbers.
- Make at least 12 purchases using your SELCO debit or credit card, or a combination of both. They can be point-of-sale swipes, online purchases, or signature-based transactions. (Only recurring charges like bill payments won’t count.)
Check your match progress
The Link Reward Tracker tab in digital banking lets you easily see your month-to-date progress toward earning your round-up match, as well as your year-to-date reward history. The tracker shows progress through the previous day and is updated nightly.
Tip: From the member dashboard, click on Link Digital Checking account, then on Rewards.
Free overdraft protection
With Link, SELCO won’t charge you for overdrafts, but a business might. Good thing Link comes with built-in and optional safeguards to help you avoid those fees. We won’t ever charge a fee for NSF incidents, overdraft transfers, or Courtesy Pay overdraft protection. You can maximize your overdraft coverage by opting into:
- Automatic overdraft transfers from a linked savings account or credit card. We’ll automatically transfer funds to Link when your balance is too low to cover a charge and waive the fee.
- Expanded Courtesy Pay overdraft protection. Learn more about how overdraft transfers, Courtesy Pay, and Expanded Courtesy Pay work.
You can opt into or out of these coverages any time by sending us a secure message.
No ATM fees
All SELCO members have access to free transactions at nearly 30,000 ATMs nationwide. But with Link, we’ll also waive our fee for using out-of-network ATMs.
