2024 Pole Pedal Paddle logo design contest submissions Jan. 2-12

Artwork submissions for the 2024 Pole Pedal Paddle logo design will be accepted January 2-12, Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF) and SELCO Community Credit Union announced. Winning artwork will appear on posters, apparel, prizes, and other materials related to the event.

SELCO awards $77,500 in college scholarships to 21 students, including five from Central Oregon

SELCO Community Credit Union’s annual scholarship program received a record number of applications in 2024 after opening the program to continuing, vocational, and nontraditional students for the first time. In the end, 21 deserving students were awarded $77,500 in scholarships, including five recipients from Central Oregon.

Bend schools eligible for classroom makeovers

Three schools in Bend are finalists for SELCO Community Credit Union's inaugural classroom makeovers. Caldera High, Buckingham Elementary, and Trinity Lutheran School are among the nine Oregon schools in the running for one of three classroom makeovers worth up to $15,000 each.
