SELCO Selects DVA As Marketing Partner

Press Release

April 4, 2016—SELCO Community Credit Union Selects DVA Advertising & Public Relations As Its Full-Service Marketing Partner

(BEND, Ore.)—In a move to consolidate its marketing efforts under a single agency umbrella, Eugene-based SELCO Community Credit Union has selected Bend-based DVA Advertising & Public Relations as its full-service marketing partner. As such, DVA will be responsible for supporting SELCO’s branding, marketing, advertising, public relations, and promotion initiatives for its complete line of products and services throughout Oregon.

“After a comprehensive and competitive RFP process, we felt that DVA demonstrated a thorough understanding of our business and culture, and shared our vision and optimism for the future of SELCO as an Oregon-based, member-focused credit union,” said Laura Illig, Vice President of Marketing for SELCO. “Their experience, capabilities, and account team will be an excellent complement to the capabilities and responsibilities of our in-house marketing team.”

Following initial market research, brand refinement, and creative concepting phases, DVA will work closely with SELCO’s in-house marketing team to deploy the marketing effort across multiple traditional, digital, and non-traditional channels, direct marketing efforts, a proactive public relations effort, and more.

“The opportunity to partner with an organization like SELCO does not happen every day, and is a responsibility that we do not take lightly,” said Mary Angelo, Partner and Director of Client Services for DVA. “We look forward to collaborating with them to make meaningful contributions toward the overall success of the organization and the members they serve.”
