Moreland brings 10+ years of financial industry experience to the role

(SPRINGFIELD, Ore.) — SELCO Community Credit Union recently promoted Megan Moreland to commercial loan officer for its Commercial & Business Banking division. Operating out of the Gateway branch, Moreland will manage a commercial loan portfolio and produce new commercial loans in the Springfield/Eugene and Salem markets.

She was originally hired by SELCO as a credit analyst in 2014 and was promoted to senior credit analyst in 2019 before being moved up to commercial loan officer.

“We’re excited to see Megan transition into this next level of her career,” said Serena Kelly, vice president, commercial loan officer – senior team leader. “Her strong analytic skills and dedication to SELCO and the members we serve have earned her this well-deserved promotion. We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to promote from within and look forward to Megan’s continued growth and success.”

Moreland earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Oregon. In addition to her duties at SELCO, she serves on the board of The Kids First and previously was a member of the Eugene Active 20-30 Club.
