SELCO Community Credit Union Welcomes Mike Wadley as a Financial Advisor

Press Release

Wadley brings a blend of investment and intelligence expertise to his new role

(SPRINGFIELD, Ore.) — SELCO Community Credit Union recently hired Mike Wadley as an LPL financial advisor for SELCO Investment & Retirement Services.* Wadley will be temporarily based in SELCO’s West 11th Branch in Eugene before moving to a permanent base at the Santa Clara Branch in Eugene.

“Mike brings a rare combination of investment expertise, member-focused service, and a distinguished intelligence background,” said Steve McIntire, senior vice president of Enterprise Risk & General Counsel at SELCO. “His ability to analyze complex situations, build trusted relationships, and help people reach informed decisions makes him an exceptional addition to our wealth management team.”

Born in Austin, Texas, Wadley spent eight years in Europe while his father was stationed there with the U.S. Air Force. He later grew up in Mountain Home, Idaho and Boise, Idaho. After high school, he earned a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Brigham Young University, where he was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force through the ROTC. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Before joining the financial services industry, Wadley served as an intelligence officer and analyst for the Air Force, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and the FBI.

In his free time, Wadley enjoys spending quality time with his four children and takes in as many track & field events as he can at Hayward Field in Eugene.
