Card controls, featured in digital banking, are available for SELCO Community Credit Union members. Use it to manage spending and secure your cards from potential fraud right from your desktop computer or mobile device.
Card controls includes the most popular features you’re accustomed to (and more):
There are plenty of ways to stay on top of transactions as they happen through card control alerts. Receive notifications by text, email, or push notifications for any of the following:
Absolutely. You can set alerts for activity on your accounts and cards (there’s no longer need for a separate Card Manager app) as well as notifications of suspicious activity. Get alerted when your balances dip below or go above a certain amount, when checks clear, when your loans are due, and much more. These alerts can be sent via email, text, or push notification. To learn more, visit the “Card Management & Alerts” help and support page.
Card controls let you set limits on how your cards are used, and real-time alerts will let you know exactly when your card is being used. Every step of the way, you’re in complete control.
Card controls in digital banking can only be used for SELCO-issued debit or credit cards. SELCO gift cards or cards issued by other financial institutions are not allowed.
Any SELCO Community Credit Union member who is enrolled in digital banking and has a SELCO debit or credit card can access card controls.
Yes! Select your credit card account or checking account associated with your debit card, then you can view recent transactions within the “Activity” tab.
Absolutely! Card controls requires at least one account to be registered, but additional SELCO-issued cards can be added to your profile at any time.
Follow these steps to set or reset your PIN for your debit or credit card:
That’s all there is to it. Your card PIN has been set/reset.
As soon as you realize your card is misplaced, you can do one of two things in digital banking. You can lock your card immediately using card controls. When your card is locked, it cannot be used to make a purchase. You can also go straight to reporting your card lost or stolen, which also instantly blocks your card from being used. This is done in digital banking by selecting your credit card account or checking account associated with your debit card, then clicking or tapping the three-dots drop-down in the upper-right corner and selecting “Report Card Lost/Stolen.” Your misplaced/stolen card will then be canceled and a replacement card will be ordered and sent to you within 10–14 business days.
Changes take effect immediately and can be reversed just as quickly. You can even turn off your card until the moment you present it to a cashier or place an order online.

If your card number stays the same, your settings should automatically transfer to the new card (but you may need to update the expiration date and security code). But if your card has a new number, you will need to log in to digital banking, navigate to card controls to add the new card, and set up your card controls and alerts (and be sure to delete the old card).
