Derek Anderson
Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer
Derek was born and raised in Portland. After graduating from Portland State University with a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance, he began his professional career at CU Business Group, a commercial services Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) based in Portland. Throughout his 13-year career, his main focus has been on commercial lending in the credit union space. Derek joined SELCO’s Commercial & Business Banking team in 2021.
Away from work, Derek volunteers with the AKA Science Program in East Portland, sponsored by Youth & Family Services of Impact NW. In his free time, he catches a live Portland Trail Blazers game when he can, and enjoys fishing, hiking, golfing, and a quality craft beer.
