Whatever it means to you—whether that’s buying your first car, going to college, or moving into your first home away from home—we’d like to help. SELCO’s Vault Account turns your money into a springboard, launching you toward whatever your goals may be. Test your money smarts and prepare to take on the world—all while enjoying additional perks.

Get paid to save.

Money you save doesn’t just sit there—it grows. With a Vault Savings Account, you’ll get an even higher interest rate than most adults. Who couldn’t use extra money in their pockets?

Choose what you need.

Your Vault Account opens the door to all sorts of handy tools, like a checking account, Visa® card, auto loan, or college savings certificate.

Use our app.

Check your balance, swap money between accounts, deposit checks, and more—all from your favorite mobile device. You won’t have to settle for anything less than 24/7 access to your money.

You’ll get a higher interest rate than most adults.

Win gifts and prizes.

You’ll get a $10 gift card just for opening your Vault Account. Plus, you’ll be entered in a quarterly drawing for $250 cash! Want to increase your odds of winning? Every time you sign up for a SELCO product (savings account, checking account, or college savings certificate), you’ll get another entry in the drawing. Visit our Facebook page to see the past winners.

Ready to get started?

Drop by any branch with a parent or guardian and bring the following:

  • A photo ID (current student IDs are OK)
  • Proof of your current address
  • Your and your parent or guardian's Social Security numbers
  • A minimum of $10 ($5 to become a member, $5 to deposit in your account)

That's it. We'll do the rest.

The fine print: To enroll in SELCO’s Vault Account, you must be 13–17 years old and live or work in one of the 27 Oregon counties we serve (or have a family member who does). A qualified adult guarantor is required for all loans and deposit accounts issued to members under 18.
