What’s New with SELCO’s Digital Services?

As the world continues to speed up, many of us choose to manage everything on the go, including our finances.

With that in mind, SELCO recently rolled out some exciting new features for its ever-growing suite of digital services. Here’s a quick overview of these enhancements:

Enrolling in Mobile Banking Straight from the App

Until recently, you needed to enroll in online banking before you could take advantage of SELCO’s Mobile Banking app. No more! You can enroll in mobile banking straight from the app, available for download at the App Store or Google Play. Here’s how to start enjoying mobile banking:

  • Open your new app and tap “Enroll Now.”
  • Enter your member number.
  • Follow the prompts … and you’re in!

You’ll now have access to all your accounts anytime, anywhere. As a bonus, you’ll automatically be enrolled in online banking, even if you hadn’t already signed up, and your login information will be identical (one setup, one login, all your banking needs).

Adding Deposit Accounts from the App

Want to add a new savings, money market, or checking account? You can now open additional deposit accounts directly from the mobile app in a few easy steps:

  • From the menu in the upper-left corner, tap “Open New Share” or “Open Checking.”
  • Choose which type of account you’d like to open. For checking, choose which branch is most convenient.
  • Follow the remaining prompts, and you’re all set.

Scheduling Appointments on the App

With our online scheduling tool, it’s easier than ever to schedule video, phone, or in-person sessions with a SELCO expert, whenever it’s most convenient for you. And it can now be taken care of with a few taps on your mobile device.

Again, start at the left-hand navigation of SELCO’s app and scroll down to the “Make Appointment” link. You’ll see a list of topics you can meet with a representative about and a link to get scheduled. Our experts are ready to help you with:

  • Opening a new account.
  • Applying for personal loans, credit cards, or mortgages.
  • Insurance and investment services.
  • … and much more.

A More Robust Money Manager

If you don’t already have it, SELCO’s Money Manager is a free budget-tracking, goal-setting, account-spanning tool that helps you track and organize your finances across your financial institutions. And now it has a more modern look and feel. Among the upgrades:

  • Refined tracking. A revamped spending wheel tracks top spending categories in real time, so it’s easier to make informed, intentional spending decisions.
  • Customized insights. The new insights feature offers suggestions for additional budget categories based on spending habits, giving you a more complete view of your financial picture.
  • Trends at a glance. An expanded dashboard removes the guesswork from your income and spending history, helping you better manage your cash flow on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Money Manager is available in online banking and the free mobile app. To get started, log in to online banking via selco.org and click “Money Manager” in the top menu. Once enrolled, you’ll be able to budget, track, and save with extra savvy in both online and mobile banking.
