Unique User IDs

An even more secure way to access mobile and online banking.

To ensure your accounts are as safe as possible, user IDs are required to be unique and not contain your member number. 

Please note: If you have more than one account, you’ll need to create a unique user ID for each one.

How to create your user ID:

In the mobile app:

  1. Click “Enroll now” on the login screen.
  2. Enter your member number and last name. A temporary password will be sent to your email address.
  3. Log in with your temporary password and create your new password.
  4. Enter your new user ID.

On a desktop:

  1. On selco.org’s login screen, click “Enroll Now.”
  2. Enter your member number, last name, and the last four of your Social Security number.
  3. Select how you’d like to receive your security code, then enter the code when prompted.
  4. Enter the temporary password sent to the email address associated with the account.
  5. Enter and re-enter your new user ID.
  6. Enter and re-enter your new password.

Once you’ve successfully created your user ID, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you’re using the app, make sure to update your user ID before using Face or Touch ID.

Your unique user ID must:

  • Begin with a letter.
  • Include at least 1 number.
  • Contain 6-15 characters (no symbols or special characters, please.) Note: User IDs are not case-sensitive.
  • Be unique (no two memberships can have the same user ID).
  • Not include personal data, such as your Social Security number, mailing address, or birth date.
  • Not be the same as your password.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my user ID be used to access both online and mobile banking?

Yes! Your user ID will work for both mobile and online banking. But make sure to keep track of your member number for account verification and other uses.

If I have multiple SELCO accounts, do I need to create a user ID for each one?

Yes, for each account, you'll need to create a unique user ID. If you toggle between multiple accounts in mobile or online banking (for example, between your personal account and your child's youth account), you'll be able to access those accounts as you usually would. However, to create distinct user IDs, you'll need to log in to each account individually.

Can I change my user ID in the future?

In mobile banking: Select the “Add/Edit User ID” tile from the home screen.

In online banking: Click the "My Profile" icon in the upper-right corner, then select "Change User ID."

What if I forget my user ID?

Simply click "Forgot User ID" on the online banking login screen (or “Forgot Username” in the mobile app). You'll be asked to verify your account, after which your user ID will be sent to the email address associated with the primary account holder.

Como crear su id de usuario

En la aplicación móvil:

  1. Seleccione “Enroll now” en la pantalla de ingreso.
  2. Ingrese su número de miembro y su apellido. Una clave temporaria será mandada a su correo electrónico.
  3. Ingrese al sistema con su clave temporaria y cree su clave nueva.
  4. Ingrese su ID de usuario nuevo.

En computadora de escritorio:

  1. En la pantalla de ingreso en selco.org, seleccione “Enroll now.” 
  2. Ingrese su número de miembro, apellido, y los últimos cuatro números de su seguro social. 
  3. Seleccione como le gustaría recibir su código de seguridad, e ingrese el código cuando sea solicitado. 
  4. Ingrese la clave temporaria mandada a al correo electrónico asociado con su cuenta.  
  5. Ingrese y reingrese su ID de usuario nuevo. 
  6. Ingrese y reingrese su clave nueva.

Una vez haya creado su ID de usuario con éxito, recibirá un correo electrónico de confirmación. Si esta usando la aplicación, asegúrese de actualizar su ID de usuario antes de usar Face o Touch ID.
