As a credit union founded by teachers, we understand the critical role education plays in the strength of our community. That’s why each year we award 20 scholarships to exceptional high school seniors continuing their education.

If you’re planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university, you may be eligible for a $1,500 SELCO Scholarship to help with tuition and other educational expenses.

Eligibility Requirements

You must be:

  • A SELCO member or the immediate family member of a SELCO member (SELCO employees and their immediate family members are not eligible).
  • A graduating senior from a four-year accredited high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university.

Selection Process

The SELCO Scholarship Committee reviews all applications. In the event of closely qualified applicants, the committee may also request interviews. Winners will be notified by mail and announced by May 8.

Award Distribution

Funds will be released to scholarship winners by the end of May.
